Who is responsible

What we collect

When you send the contact form, we receive the details you enter: your name, email address, location (optional), the topics you select and your message. The form sends them to us by email. They are not stored on the website.

If you email us directly, we receive the content of your email and your email address.

Why we use it

Only to reply to your request and, if you ask for it, to prepare a quote and deliver the work. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to handle them, and at most 24 months after our last contact if no work follows. If you become a customer, records are kept as long as Danish accounting law requires.

Who else sees it

We do not sell or share your data. The website runs on Cloudflare, which also relays contact form messages to our mailbox. Cloudflare, Inc. processes this data on our behalf under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and keeps short-term technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security and operation. Our email is hosted by Proton AG in Switzerland.

Cookies and tracking

This website uses no cookies and no advertising or cross-site trackers. To see which pages are read, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you. Fonts are served from our own server.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing contact@maquis.solutions. You can also object to how we use it. If you think we handle your data incorrectly, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), datatilsynet.dk.
